Abstract:

Anotace k magisterské diplomové práci Smyčcové kvartety Pavla Bořkovce, příspěvek k poznání české meziválečné hudební avantgardy napsal: Bc. Petr Haas vedoucí práce: doc. PhDr. Lubomír Spurný, Ph.D. Magisterská diplomová práce nazvaná Smyčcové kvartety Pavla Bořkovce, příspěvek k poznání české meziválečné hudební avantgardy se zabývá smyčcovými kvartety skladatele Pavla Bořkovce. Poukazuje na základní charakter výstavby smyčcových kvartetů a nabízí vysvětlení podstaty konstruktivismu Bořkovcova tvůrčího typu, jenž se projevuje i v kvartetní tvorbě. Jako nástroj poznávání je používán popis struktury díla, popis jeho formového uspořádání a základních druhů používané harmonie. Součástí práce je více než sto notových příkladů, kterými jsou dokumentována jednotlivá tvrzení. Práce je vnímána jako příspěvek k poznání české meziválečné hudební avantgardy a navazuje na předcházející bakalářkou práci nazvanou Česká meziválečná hudební avantgarda, pojem „avantgarda“ v české hudbě.

Annotation of MA thesis Pavel Bořkovec´s string quartets, a contribution to understanding of Czech interwar music avantgarde Written by: Bc. Petr Haas Tutor: doc. PhDr. Lubomír Spurný, Ph.D. The master thesis named Pavel Bořkovec´s string quartets, a contribution to understanding of Czech interwar music avantgarde deals with the Czech composer Pavel Bořkovec‘s string quartets. It points out the basic characteristic of his string quartets‘ composition and offers an interpretation of the basic features of Bořkovec‘s constructivism, which reveals itself also in his quartet work. The thesis uses description of the structure of Bořkovec‘s compositions, description of the form organization and the basic types of harmony as means of understanding. The thesis comprises of more than a hundred examples of notations that document each argument. The thesis hopes to contribute to a better understanding of Czech interwar music avantgarde. It further explores the topic being dealt with in the author‘s previous study named Czech interwar music avantgarde, the term „avantgarde“ in Czech music (BA thesis).
