Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá přínosem reminiscenční terapie pro seniory. Teoretická část se zabývá stárnutím a stářím, změnami ve stáří, a jak se s nimi senioři vyrovnávají. Charakte-rizuje potřeby seniorů ve stáří, dále rozebírá péči o seniora a adaptaci seniora v instituci. Objasňuje pojem reminiscence, uvádí smysl vzpomínání pro seniora. Definuje přístupy k vedení reminiscence a průběh reminiscence. Výzkumná část usiluje o zjištění názoru seniorů na reminiscenci, důvody proč ji navštěvují a pocity, které si uvědomují.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the benefits of reminiscence therapy for seniors. The theore-tical framework deals with ageing and old age, changes that occur in old age, and how se-niors cope with them. It characterizes the needs of seniors in old age, analyzes elder care and how seniors adapt to the institution. This section also clarifies the concept of reminis-cence and presents the purpose of the process for a senior. It defines approaches to the ma-nagement of reminiscence therapy and its course. The research section seeks to find out seniors ' opinions about reminiscence therapy, the reasons why they attend it, and their feelings during the therapy.
