Problems of Delayed Pregnancy: the Most Common Risks in the Older Primipara

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou opožděného těhotenství se zaměřením na nejčastější rizika prvorodiček vyššího věku. S vyšší četností žen rodících nad 35. rokem života se zvyšuje počet rizikových těhotenství, těhotenských i poporodních komplikací. Komplikace vázané na vyšší věk matky ohrožují matku i plod. Teoretická část popisuje důležitost věku pro těhotenství, kde je rozebrán věk matek, motivační pohnutky žen pro odkládání těhotenství do pozdějšího věku, prekoncepční příprava na těhotenství a je zde zmíněna i neplodnost a asistovaná reprodukce. Dále se teoretická část zabývá prenatální diagnostikou, vyšetřovacími metodami, možnými riziky a komplikacemi pro matku i plod. V praktické části byly zpracovány názorné kazuistiky s příběhy žen starších 35 let. V názorných kazuistikách jsou zachyceny důvody odkládání těhotenství, průběh těhotenství a komplikace, které u starých primipar nastaly.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to outline the issue of delayed pregnancy, especially most common risks of primiparas of older age. With a higher frequency of pregnancy among women of advanced maternal age (35 years and older) the number of high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy and postpartum complications increases. Complications linked to maternal age threaten both mother and fetus. The theoretical part describes the importance of age for pregnancy, the age of mothers is analyzed. Motives of women for postponing pregnancy, preconceptual preparation for pregnancy and infertility and assisted reproduction are mentioned as well. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with prenatal diagnostics, examination methods, possible risks and complications for mother and fetus. For the practical part I have chosen illustrative case reports with stories of women over 35 years. In illustrative case studies is described the reasons for postponing pregnancy, the course of pregnancy and the complications that occurred to old primiparas.
