Knowledge management and its contribution to the organization

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na implementaci managementu znalostí do konkrétního podniku. Hlavní cíl práce je odhalení mezer v aktuálním stavu managementu podniku a následně vymyslet vhodná řešení, která by firmě mohla pomoci, jak v šíření znalostí uvnitř podniku, tak případně i po finanční stránce. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. V úvodu teoretické části jsou objasněny základní pojmy, které úzce souvisí s managementem znalostí, následně je vysvětlena problematika managementu znalostí, jeho přínosy pro organizaci a způsoby implementace do podniku. V této části jsou také vysvětleny rozdíly mezi tímto managementem a znalostním managementem, neboť se nejedná o dva totožné pojmy. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu jednotlivých pracovních pozic ve firmě CN Cargo s.r.o., dále také na analýzu vybraných kurzů, které slouží k seberozvoji interních zaměstnanců. Závěr práce obsahuje kompletní vyhodnocení zvolených metod, konkrétně všechna navrhovaná řešení, jejich přínos pro firmu a v neposlední řadě také náklady.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the implementation of knowledge management in a specific company. The main objective of the thesis is to identify the gaps in the current state of the company's management and then to come up with suitable solutions that could help the company, both in terms of knowledge dissemination within the company and possibly also financially. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the introduction of the theoretical part, the basic concepts that are closely related to knowledge management are explained, followed by an explanation of knowledge management, its benefits for the organization and ways of implementation in the enterprise. The differences between knowledge management and knowledge management are also explained in this part, as they are not two identical concepts. The practical part focuses on the analysis of individual job positions in CN Cargo Ltd., as well as on the analysis of selected courses used for the self-development of internal employees. The conclusion of the thesis contains a complete evaluation of the chosen methods, specifically all the proposed solutions, their benefits for the company and, last but not least, the costs.
