Elimination of the Threat of an Terrorist Attack on the Airport

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o hrozbě teroristického útoku cíleného na letiště s následným návrhem opatření pro odstranění dané hrozby útoku. Úvodní teoretická část je věnována literární rešerši s důrazem na právní normy a problematiku terorismu a prvků ochrany letiště. Praktická část práce řeší analýzu teroristických útoků na letiště v období 1990 - 2018, posouzení schopnosti letiště čelit útokům a hodnocení současných hrozeb teroristických útoků na letiště. V závěru práce je návrh zkvalitnění ochrany veřejné části letiště s cílem zvýšit bezpečnost v daných prostorech.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the threat of a terrorist attack aimed at the airport and a suggest of proposal of measures to eliminate the threat of attack. The introductory theoretical part is dedicated to literary research with emphasis on legal norms and issues of terrorism and elements of airport protection. The practical part of the work deals with the analysis of terrorist attacks on airports in the period 1990 - 2018, assessment of the airport's ability to counter attacks and rating of current threats of terrorist attacks on the airport. At the end of the work is a proposal to improve the protection of the public part of the airport in order to increase security in the areas.
