Crisis managment application for small and medium enterprises

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the application of crisis management in practice, we selected the organization, which is the State Theatre in Košice, for the period 2007-2011. For successful management is necessary to know its internal and external environment and experience to know to apply the management functions. The work is divided into five chapters. The first and second chapter focuses on the theoretical background of crisis management and corporate crises. The second chapter is to monitor internal and external crises, determine the extent of the crisis and ways to address business crises. The third part gives an application features of crisis management capability. In the fourth part is written about the organization of the State Theatre Košice, the application functions of planning, organizing, controlling and influencing the practice of crisis management in the theater. Further analysis of the crisis measures, assess existing potential risks contained in the organization and guidance for the prevention of crisis situations. In conclusion offers suggestions for preventing corporate crises and possible solutions to corporate crises.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá aplikáciou krízového manažmentu v praxi nami vybranej organizácie, ktorou je Štátne divadlo Košice, za sledované obdobie rokov 2007-2011. Pre úspešné vedenie podniku je potrebné poznať jeho vnútorné a vonkajšie prostredie a v praxi vedieť uplatňovať funkcie riadenia. Práca je rozdelená do piatich kapitol. Prvá a druhá kapitola je zameraná na teoretické východiská krízového manažmentu a podnikových kríz. Súčasťou druhej kapitoly je monitorovanie vnútropodnikových a vonkajších kríz, určenie rozsahu krízy a spôsoby riešenia podnikových kríz. Tretia časť práce prináša aplikáciu funkcií krízového manažmentu pre potreby praxe. V štvrtej časti je spracovaná analýza organizácie Štátneho divadla Košice, aplikácia funkcií plánovania, organizovania, kontroly a ovplyvňovania krízového manažmentu v praxi divadla. Ďalej analýza krízových opatrení, vyhodnotenie existujúcich možných rizík nachádzajúcich sa v organizácii a poučenie pre prevenciu vzniku krízových situácií. V záveroch práca prináša návrhy na predchádzanie podnikovým krízam a možné riešenia podnikových kríz.
