Tato bakalářská práce, se věnuje neoformalistické analýze filmu Brazil, amerického režiséra Terrence Vance Gilliama.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of Terry Gilliam’s movie Brazil. The work is divided into four parts. The first section introduces the director and his professional life. The second part analyzes cultural and economic context and problematic way of distribution. Third part deals with neoformalist film analysis with focus on style and narration. The conclusion summarizes a dominant of the film – ambivalence.
