The combined approach to structure and electronic properties study of chalcogenide glasses

Abstract:

Disertační práce je zaměřena na studium chalkogenidových skel se složením GaGeTe7 a AsS2 a AgAsS2. Byla použita kombinace teoretického a experimentálního přístupu. Vzorky byly připraveny syntézou z čistých prvků a jejich strukturní vlastnosti byly získány pomocí těchto experimentálních technik: X-ray difrakce, neutronová difrakce, EXAFS (Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure) a Ramanova spektroskopie. Experimentální data byla využita pro simulace metodou reverzní Monte Carlo.

Abstract:

This Dissertation is focused on GaGeTe7 and AsS2 and AgAsS2 chalcogenide glasses study. The combined experimental and theoretical investigation was used. The samples was prepared by standard way (by direct synthesis from pure chemical elements) and their structural properties were measured via these techniques: X-ray diffraction, neutron diffraction, EXAFS (Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure), and Raman spectroscopy. The experimental data were used to reverse Monte Carlo method simulation.
