Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá historickým vývojem Měšťanské besedy v Litoměřicích mezi lety 1862-1918, tedy od založení spolku až do rozpadu Rakouska-Uherska. Práci lze pokládat za jistou sondu do života české menšiny v Litoměřicích. Ryze český spolek plnil pro české obyvatelstvo, žijící v německých Litoměřicích, důležitou kulturně-společenskou funkci. Spolek tedy pořádal mnohé divadelní, hudební, pěvecké, ale i další společenské akce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the historical development of the Association of the citizens in 1862-1918 in Litoměřice, since the establishment of the association until the collapse of the Austria-Hungary empire. The work can be considered as a probe into some of the Czech minority in Litoměřice. Purely Czech assocition filled an important cultural and social fiction for the Czech population living in German Litoměřice. The association there for organized many of theater, music, vocalas well as other social events.
