The most common pathologies of the knee in the tennis player.

Abstract:

Professional tennis is a sport that requires many hours of daily workout and greatly exacerbates the joints, especially the knee. In the following discussion we give preliminary information on the anatomical structure of the knee so that we can analyze the most frequent diseases affecting the tennis player. The relevant treatments are then examined to allow the injured athlete proper care and correct rehabilitation. Prevention with all its components (pre-race and stretching heating) plays a key role in minimizing the risk of injury. After the theoretical discussion of the subject, the study, following the treatise, proposes to expose a truly incurred clinical case.

Abstract:

tennis giocato a livello professionistico ? uno sport che richiede molte ore di allenamento quotidiano e sollecita notevolmente le articolazioni, in particolar modo quella del ginocchio. Nella trattazione seguente vengono dati preliminarmente dei cenni sulla struttura anatomica del ginocchio per poi poterne analizzare le patologie pi? frequenti che colpiscono il tennista. Sono poi esaminati i relativi trattamenti che permettono all'atleta infortunato un'adeguata cura e la corretta riabilitazione. Anche la prevenzione con tutte le sue componenti (riscaldamento pre gara e stretching) assume un ruolo fondamentale per ridurre al minimo il rischio degli infortuni. Lo studio a seguito trattato si propone, dopo aver effettuato la trattazione teorica dell'argomento, di esporre un caso clinico realmente accaduto.
