Spatial and temporal variability of air temperature in Brno

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá základní statistickou analýzou měření teploty vzduchu ze sítě účelových stanic v Brně za období leden 2011 – září 2015 s cílem charakterizovat typické rysy časové a prostorové proměnlivosti vybraných teplotních charakteristik v prostředí městského klimatu se zvláštním zřetelem na jejich extremitu. Teplotní poměry jsou popsány pro jednotlivá roční období. Pro každou stanici jsou vypočítány základní statistické charakteristiky teplotních poměrů a to průměr, maximum a minimum a také počty tzv. charakteristických dnů, které slouží k popisu prostorové variability teploty vzduchu v Brně. Výsledky jsou porovnávány s hodnotami referenčního období ze stanice Brno, Tuřany. Pro charakterizování časové variability byly sestaveny průměrné denní chody teplot a analyzovány se zřetelem na výskyt extrémních hodnot při radiačním a advekčním režimu počasí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with basic statistical analysis of air temperature measurements from a network of purpose-built stations in Brno in the period January 2011 - September 2015 in order to characterize the typical characteristics of temporal and spatial variability of selected temperature characteristics in urban climate with special reference to their extremity. Temperature conditions are described in different seasons. For each station, there are calculated basic statistical characteristics, as the average, maximum and minimum of temperature conditions, and also a number of characteristic days that are used to describe the spatial variability of the air temperature in Brno. The results are compared with the reference period of the station Brno, Tuřany. For characterisation of the temporal variability, there were assembled daily average temperature runs and they were analysed with regard to the occurrence of extreme values during radiation and advection weather regime.
