Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu odívání architektury v díle Adolfa Loose z let 1899–1923. Pro zkoumání dané problematiky byl zvolen interiér Kavárny Muzeum a Kärntner Baru, jakožto dvou realizací komerčního charakteru z přelomu 19. a 20. století ve Vídni, a jídelna Bauerova zámečku, jež je jedinou komplexní realizací v architektově rodném Brně. Důležitou součástí práce je rovněž historie teorie odívání, která vychází ze spisů architekta a teoretika Gottfrieda Sempera. Hlavním cílem práce je shrnutí, jakým způsobem se teorie odívání prostřednictvím tří realizací proměňovala, a kam až v díle Adolfa Loose dospěla.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of architectural dressing in the work of Adolf Loos from 1899–1923. For the research of this topic, the interior of the Café Museum and the Kärntner Bar were chosen as two commercial realizations from the turn of the 19th and 20th century in Vienna and the dining room of the Bauer Chateau, which is the only complex realization in the architect's native Brno. The history of dressing theory, based on the writings of architect and theorist Gottfried Semper, is also an important part of the work. The main aim of the thesis is to summarize how the theory of dressing developed through the three realizations and how far it reached in the work of Adolf Loos.
