Development of the attitudes of Republic of Turkey towards NATO after the bilateral era of international relations and the impact of coups on the foreign policy of Turkey
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the development of attitudes of the Republic of Turkey towards NATO as a whole and also towards the individual members of Alliance. Thesis analyses the post cold war era as well as the latest coup attempt in Turkey. The comparision with previous coups was used to analyze the change in Turkish relations to NATO. Rigorózna práca sa zaoberá vývojom postojov Tureckej republiky voči NATO ako celku a aj voči jednotlivým členom Aliancie. Práca sa zameriava na obdobie po konci studenej vojny a taktiež hodnotí vplyv posledného pokusu o štátny prevrat v Turecku, k poukázaniu do akej miery ovplyvnia daná udalosť vzťah s Alianciou ho porovnáva s prevratmi v predošlom období.
