Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje asimilaci železa patogenní kvasinkou Candida albicans. Zabývá se obecným popisem kvasinky, jakými mechanizmy může kvasinka získávat železo z okolí a jakými mechanizmy jej sama zpracovává. V praktické části je pak popsán postup přípravy směsných kultur s bakterií Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Abstract:
This Bachelor thesis deals with assimilation of iron by the pathogenic yeast Candida albicans. It deals with general description of the yeast, and with the mechanisms used by the yeast to acquire iron from its environment, as well as with the mechanisms of iron utilisation in Candida.
