Implementation of the psychiatric care reform in the Ústí nad Labem Region, 10 years after its approval

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá reformou psychiatrické péče v České republice se zaměřením na Ústecký kraj. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat hlavní změny v systému péče o osoby s duševním onemocněním, identifikovat klíčové výzvy a přínosy reformy a přiblížit roli centra duševního zdraví v celém procesu. Úvodní část představuje reformu psychiatrické péče v České republice, centra duševního zdraví a cílovou skupinu, tj. osoby s duševním onemocněním. Bakalářská práce může přispět ke zvýšení povědomí o reformě psychiatrické péče, přiblížit roli center duševního zdraví, zanalyzovat slabé a silné stránky spolupráce mezi Centrem duševního zdraví v Ústí nad Labem a dalšími subjekty a přiblížit význam komunitních služeb.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the reform of psychiatric care in the Czech Republic with a focus on the Ústí nad Labem region. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the main changes in the system of care for people with mental illness, to identify the key challenges and benefits of the reform and to present the role of mental health centres in the whole process. The introductory part introduces the reform of psychiatric care in the Czech Republic, mental health centres and the target group, i.e. people with mental illness. The bachelor thesis can contribute to raising awareness about the reform of psychiatric care, present the role of mental health centres, analyse the weaknesses and strengths of the cooperation between the Mental Health Centre in Ústí nad Labem and other entities and present the importance of community services.
