College study through the eyes of students with anxiety-depressive disorder

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá studenty vysoké školy s úzkostně depresivní poruchou a jejich zvládáním studia. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké je studium vysoké školy pohledem studentů s úzkostně depresivní poruchou. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní terminologii a situaci v kontextu studia vysoké školy s psychickým onemocněním. Dále se text teoretické části zaměřuje na možnosti podpory těchto studentů na úrovni rodiny a na úrovni univerzity. Empirická část této práce se věnuje metodologii a prezentaci výsledků výzkumu. Získaná data prezentují pohled studentů s úzkostně depresivní poruchou na průběh celého studia a všech oblastí, které se s ním pojí. Je blíže prezentovaná podpora, kterou tito studenti považují během studia za důležitou, a bariéry, se kterými se v důsledku nemoci během studia setkávají.

Abstract:

This master's thesis focuses on college students with anxiety-depressive disorder and their coping with their studies. The aim of the thesis was to find out what college studying is like from the perspective of students with anxiety-depressive disorder. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the basic terminology and situation in the context of college students with mental illness. Furthermore, the text of the theoretical part focuses on the possibilities of supporting these students at the family level, and at the university level. The empirical part of this thesis focuses on the methodology and presentation of the research results. The data obtained present the perspective of students with anxiety-depressive disorder on the course of the entire study and all areas related to it. The support that these students consider important during their studies and the barriers they encounter as a result of their illness during their studies are presented in more detail.
