Strategic partnership as a way of increasing competitiveness

Abstract:

Aim of this master's thesis is to analyse and evaluate the influence of acquisition on Arrow International CR a.s., eventually to suggest approaches to different opportunities resulting from the acquisition. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical parts deals with strategic partnership questions, especially focusing on acquisitions. In practical part the strategic analysis of the company is drafted for situations before and after the acquisition. The outcomes of the strategic analyses before and after the acquisition are compared and the influence on competitiveness is evaluated in the last part.

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit vliv akvizice na podnik Arrow International CR a.s., případně navrhnout využití možných příležitostí vyplývajících ze spojení. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá problematikou strategických partnerství, zejména akvizic. V praktické části je provedena strategická analýza společnosti v situaci před a po akvizici. Ze získaných dat jsou v závěre práce porovnány výsledky strategické analýzy před a po spojení a vyhodnocen vliv spojení na konkurenceschopnost společnosti.
