Phenomenology of Embodiment and Phenomenological Conception of Performativity

Abstract:

Náplní této práce je fenomenologie tělesnosti v rámci pojetí jejího zakladatele Edmunda Husserla a také u Maurice Merleau-Pontyho. V první kapitole se autor zabývá fenomenologickými texty Edmunda Husserla a pokrývá témata smyslového vjemu, smyslového schématu, receptivity, prostoru, duševna, těla, druhého člověka a vcítění. Ve druhé kapitole se pak zabývá Mauricem Merleau-Pontym a vnímáním, tělem, prostorem, gestem, rozuměním a empatií. Ve třetí kapitole se autor zabývá performativitou. V rámci práce byl proveden extenzivní průzkum bibliografie od autorů E. Husserla a M. Merleau-Pontyho týkající se témat fenomenologie tělesnosti a dále bibliografií zabývající se expresivity, gest a tělesného projevu v oblasti divadla. Autor na základě průzkumu sestavil systém kapitol popisující vybrané fenomenologické prvky a témata, které úzce souvisí s fenomenologií tělesnosti. Cílem práce je stanovení předpokladů pro fenomenologickou koncepci performativity.

Abstract:

This thesis concentrates on phenomenology of embodiment in the means of its founding father Edmund Husserl and also Maurice Merleau-Ponty. It focusses in the first chapter on phenomenological texts of Edmund Husserl and covers the topics of sense perception, sense scheme, receptivity, space, psyche, body, the other human and empathy. Second chapter depicts phenomenology of perception, body, embodiment, gesture, understand and empathy. The third chapter depicts performativity. Thesis framework is based on extensive survey of bibliography of E. Husserl and M. Merlau-Ponty which aims on phenomenology of embodiment and bibliography depicting phenomenology of theatre, expressivity, gestures a body language in the theatrical environment. Author assembles the system of chapters based on his former research that describes phenomenological elements and themes, that closely relates to the phenomenology of embodiment. The target is to determine the prerequisites for phenomenological theory of performativity.
