Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the layout, implementation and further improvement of the application created on my own for the iOS mobile platform. The application is a part of the project Smart Home Point that is devoted to the automation system for houses and functions for the following mobile platforms; iOS, Android and WindowsPhone. The system enables you a central and automated control of selected elements of houses such as temperature and lights control, irrigation machine scheduling or garage and main doors control. A user can easily control his/her house via a tablet or mobile phone wherever an Internet connection is available.The theoretical part presents the Smart Home Point project and the analyses of several key factors that were defined before the implementation itself.The practical part presents the layout (usability and graphics), implementation of the application for iPad and iPhone and subsequent user testing with the selected sample of users including presentation and integration of received results.
