Diplomová práce pojednává o školní pohybové aktivitě žáků na 1. stupni základní školy. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení základních pojmů, charakteristice dětí mladšího školního věku a školní zralosti. Dále je uveden význam pohybové aktivity a další možnosti rozvoje pohybové aktivity dětí ve škole. Na konci teoretické části jsou popsány typy intervenčních programů spojených s podporou pohybu.
