Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabývám prací supermediálního umělce Federica Díaze. Federica Díaze přitahuje pohyb, změna, tok a nerespektuje pevné a neměnné hranice. Kromě prostorových instalací vytváří i objekty pomocí počítačových animací. Tématem mnohých děl Federica Díaze se stává energie a její formy. Federico Díaz se zajímá o nové přístupy k umělecké tvorbě, o zapojení softwaru, světla, pohybu, zvuku a elektronických technologií do umění.V instalacích však nejde jen o ukázku energetických procesů, ale i o působení energie na návštevníka. Človek se stává součástí energetického pole a v Díazových interaktivních instalacích přímo smyslově cítí tuto sounáležitost, uvědomí si, že prostřednictvím svých smyslů se stává součástí dění kolem sebe. Federico Díaz se mnoho let zabývá interakcí a komunikací mezi lidmi a bývá označován za multimediálního umělce. Sám sebe ale vidí spíše jako vizuálního aktivistu, protože vetšinou se snaží něco aktivovat, at už lidi, nebo prostor.

Abstract:

This bachelor diploma thesis deals with the work of a supermedia artist Federico Díaz. Federico Díaz is attracted by movements, changes, fluxes and he does not respect fixed and unchangeable boundaries. Besides three-dimensional installations he creates even objects using computer animationsl. Energy and its forms becomes the topic for many of his art pieces. Federico Díaz is interested in new approaches to artistic activities, in the involvement of software, light, motion, sound and electronic technologies into art. However, the installations do not just express a demonstration of energetic processes but they also exposure visitors to the energy. The visitor becomes a part of an energy field and feels this sense of unity in Díaz’s interactive installations and the visitor realises that through his senses he may become a part of those events surrounding him. Federico Díaz has been interested in interactions and communication among people for many years and he is regarded as a multimedia artist. But he sees himself more like a visual activist, because he usually tries to activate something, whether humans or an space around.
