Abstract:

The text is a reflection of the director’s work on the graduate play The Wilderness is the Best Place to Go Crazy, which premiered on September 13, 2020 at the Marta Studio. Olívia Fantúrová and Jakub Molnár wrote the screenplay based on Aleš Palán's book of the same name, using various different poetic and prosaic works as well. The reflection includes the overall circumstances of the season that led to the selection of this title, analysis of the working conditions of the creative team (set designer, light designer, line producer and co-authors of the choreography and the text concept), technical conditions of the theater, as well as the staging work and the audience response.

Abstract:

Text pojednáva o absolventskom režijnom výkone na inscenácii Raději zešílet v divočině, ktorá mala premiéru 13. září 2020 v Studiu Marta. Na motívy rovnmonennej knihy Aleše Palána vytvorila Olívia Fantúrová a Jakub Molnár autorský scénár s využitím ďalších básnických a prozaických textů. Súčasťou reflexie sú celkové okolnosti sezóny, ktoré viedli k výberu tohoto titulu, analýza práce s kompletným tvorivým tímom (scénografkou, light-designérom, produkčnými a spoluautormi pohybovej a textovej koncepce), technikou divadla, i samotná inscenačná práca a následné ohlasy.
