Dirigent proteiny jsou zatím málo prozkoumané proteiny se schopností řídit regiospecificitu i stereospecificitu vazby při dimerizaci fenoxy-radikálů. Dirigent proteiny se v rostlinách podílí na syntéze lignanů a ligninu a řada z nich je také spojována s reakcí na biotický i abiotický stres. Abstract:
Dirigent proteins are so far largely unexplored proteins capable of directing regiospecificity and stereospecificity of bonds in phenoxy radical coupling. Dirigent proteins are involved in lignan and lignin synthesis in plants and many of them have also been connected to biotic and abiotic stress responses.
