Vegetation variability in Brno

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá variabilitou ruderální vegetace na sedmi vybraných biotopech ve městě Brně. Jednalo se o náměstí v historickém centru, široké ulice z 19. století s řadami stromů, městský park se starými stromy, ulici ve vilové čtvrti se zahradami, travnatou plochu mezi panelovými domy, krátce opuštěnou ruderální plochu a déle neobhospodařované území na periferii města. Pro každý biotop byly nalezeny tři reprezentativní plochy, kde byly zaznamenány vyskytující se vyšší rostliny. Byla srovnána druhová bohatost jednotlivých biotopů a podobnost lokalit řazených k danému biotopu. Zapsané druhy rostlin byly rovněž rozděleny na původní a nepůvodní. Druhově nejbohatší jsou čerstvě opuštěné plochy a vilové čtvrti, nejméně podle předpokladů náměstí v centru měst. Na většině biotopů se průměrně vyskytuje více druhů zavlečených než původních.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the variability of ruderal vegetation on seven selected habitats in Brno. These habitats were: square in the historic center; boulevard from 19th century with rows of trees; city park with old trees; street in a residential area with gardens; grassy area in the surroundings of blocks of flats; recently disturbed ruderal area and unmanaged, longer abandoned site on the periphery. For each habitat three representative areas were found where occurring higher plants were recorded. Species richness of the habitats and similarity of localities representing each habitat were compared. Recorded plant species were also divided into native and alien. Highest diversity of plants was found in recently abandoned areas and streets in residential areas, the lowest in the central squares as expected. In most habitats, on average there were more alien than native species.
