The operation of railway vehicles with an alternative source of propulsion

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je nasazení železniční vozidel s alternativním pohonem v tuzemské regionální dopravě. Práce začíná analýzou železniční infrastruktury a současného trhu vozidel s alternativním zdrojem pohonu. V praktické části je vypracován konkrétní návrh nasazení vybraného typu vozidla na zvolené trati. V poslední části jsou shrnuty dopady návrhu z pohledu zúčastněných stran (provozovatel dráhy, provozovatel železniční dopravy, objednatel dopravy, cestující) a redukce emisí.

Abstract:

ThThe topic of the diploma thesis is the deployment of railway vehicles with alternative propulsion in Czech regional transport. The work begins with the analysis of the railway infrastructure and the current market of vehicles with an alternative source of propulsion. In the next part, a specific proposal for deploying the selected type of vehicles on a selected track is suggested. The last part summarizes the impacts of the proposal from the point of view of the interested parties (infrastructure manager, rail transport operator, contracting authority, passengers) and reduction of emissions.
