Teacher's assistant in the education of pupils with demanding behavior in selected elementary schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce analyzuje a mapuje působení asistenta pedagoga v kontextu náročného chování žáka. V praktické části, jsme se zabývali kvantitativním výzkumem. Hlavním předmětem práce je seznámit s možnostmi pomoci a podpory žáků s náročným chováním. Prvním a hlavním cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit, jak sami asistenti pedagoga hodnotí svou profesní připravenost na práci se žákem s náročným chováním. Další cíle - Zjistit, kolik z dotázaných asistentů pedagoga má osobní zkušenost s práci se žákem s náročným chováním. Zjistit spokojenost asistentů pedagoga s podmínkami a materiálním vybavením školy, zaměřeným na žáky s náročným chováním. Zjistit, jaké mají asistenti pedagoga, nejvyšší dosažené vzdělání. Zjistit, ve kterých metodách práce se žáky s náročným chováním, cítí sami asistenti pedagoga potřebu posílit své kompetence odborným zaškolením. Zjistit, s kým nejčastěji asistent pedagoga spolupracuje nebo spolupracoval při realizaci podpůrných opatření u konkrétního žáka s náročným chováním.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis analyses and maps the work of a teaching assistant in the context of a student's challenging behaviour. In the practical part, we dealt with quantitative research. The main focus of the thesis is to introduce the possibilities of helping and supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. The first and main aim of the research investigation is to find out how teaching assistants themselves evaluate their professional readiness to work with pupils with challenging behaviour. Other aims - To find out how many of the teaching assistants surveyed have personal experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. To find out the satisfaction of teaching assistants with the conditions and material equipment of the school aimed at pupils with challenging behaviour. To find out the highest level of education attained by teaching assistants. To find out in which methods of working with pupils with challenging behaviour the teaching assistants themselves feel the need to strengthen their competencies through professional training. Find out with whom the teaching assistant most often cooperates or has cooperated in the implementation of support measures for a particular pupil with challenging behaviour.
