Employee assessment and its role in the field of personnel management

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Hodnocení zaměstnanců a jeho úloha v oblasti personálního managementu seznamuje s cíli, metodami hodnocení zaměstnanců z teoretické, ale i praktické roviny ve vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část se věnuje obecné rovině dané problematiky, popisuje pojmy jako je personální management či hodnocení, jeho kritéria, cíle a metody. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou hodnocení zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci. Zvolen byl Magistrát města Teplice, kde dochází k hodnocení pracovníků prostřednictvím hodnotícího pohovoru. Hodnocení nepodléhá žádným předpisům a směrnicím ze strany magistrátu. Na základě vyplnění dotazníku vedoucím odboru a informací ze strany personálního oddělení se došlo k závěrům, že metoda hodnocení nemá stanovenou strukturu. V rámci návrhů na zvýšení efektivity byla doporučena struktura hodnotícího pohovoru, hodnocení kompetencí a cílů a promítnutí hodnocení do odměňování pracovníků.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on Employee evaluation and its role in HR management introduces the objectives, methods of evaluation of the theoretical and practical staff in the selected company. The theoretical part deals with the general plane of the given problem, describes concepts such as personnel management or evaluation of its criteria, objectives and methods. The practical part deals with the analysis of employee evaluation in the selected organization. The Town Hall of Teplice was elected, where the evaluation of the employees was carried out through an evaluation interview. The evaluation is not subject to any regulations and directives by the municipality. On the basis of the questionnaire by the Head of Department and information from the Personnel Department, it was concluded that the evaluation method did not have a defined structure. In the framework of proposals to improve efficiency, the structure of the appraisal interview, the assessment of competences and objectives and the projection of the evaluation into the remuneration of workers were proposed.
