The commodification Decin district for tourism purposes after 1989: the factors and key actors

Abstract:

Hlavní náplní této práce, je zhodnocení rozsahu kulturního dědictví okresu Děčín. Konkrétně se tato práce zaměřuje na významné stavby a kulturních artefakty, které slouží částečně či zcela pro účely cestovního ruchu po roce 1989. Diplomová práce se věnuje inventarizaci prvků komodifikace v okresu Děčín a identifikaci klíčových aktérů procesu komodifikace. Na základě rozhovoru s klíčovými aktéry komodifikace a analýze dat byla vytvořena databáze objektů, která obsahuje základní informace o objektu, jeho charakter, historické i současné využití a způsob obnovy aktérů komodifikace. Práce je doplněna o shrnující mapové podklady.

Abstract:

The main content of this work is the evaluation of extent of Děčín district's cultural heritage. This work is specifically focused on the significant buildings and cultural artefacts, which partially or fully serve the purpose of tourism after the year 1989. This thesis deals with the inventorying of commodification elements in Děčín district and with the identification of key participants in the commodification process. On the basis of interview with the key participants of commodification and the data analysis the object database was created. This database contains basic information about the object, its character, the historical and contemporary use and the means of restoration of the commodification participants. This work includes the summarizing map foundations.
