Business Cycle Synchronization through the Lens of a DSGE Model
Abstract:
V této diplomové práci se věnujeme zkoumání synchronizace hospodářského cyklu České republiky a Evropské měnové unie pomocí dynamického stochastického modelu všeobecné rovnováhy. V této práci aplikujeme model dvou ekonomik. Pomocí historické šokové dekompozice hlavních makroekonomických veličin analyzujeme synchronizaci hospodářských cyklů.
Abstract:
In this thesis we study the business cycle synchronization between the Czech Republic and Euro Area. For this, dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model of two economies is employed. Using historical shock decomposition of main macroeconomic variables, we analyze the synchronization of business cycles.
