Valuation of the company Únětický pivovar, a.s.

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je odhadnout tržní hodnotu společnosti Únětický pivovar, a.s. k 1.1.2023. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí – teoretické a praktické. V rámci teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy a proces ocenění podniku. Tyto teoretické poznatky jsou následně aplikované v praktické části. Nejdříve je podnik krátce představen, poté následuje strategická a finanční analýza. Následují generátory hodnoty, na jejichž základě se sestaví finanční plán. Ten je stěžejní pro námi zvolenou výnosovou metodu ocenění, tedy metodu DCF entity. Pro porovnání je využita srovnávací metoda odvětvových multiplikátorů. Poté dochází k diskuzi nad zvolenými metodami a stanovení výsledné hodnoty pro vlastníky.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the market value of Únětický pivovar, a.s. as of 1.1.2023. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and the process of valuation of the company. This theoretical knowledge is then applied in the practical part. First, the company is briefly introduced, followed by a strategic and financial analysis. This is followed by a chapter about the value generators used to build the financial plan which is crucial to our chosen income method of valuation, the DCF entity method. The comparative sectoral multiplier method is used for comparison. Then there is a discussion of the chosen methods and determination of the resulting value for the owners.
