P: A Story that Never Happened
Abstract:
A story that never happened is a fictitious documentary that I worked on during my two visits to Israel in 2019. It is a reflection about what could have happened, had my grandparents emigrated to Israel after World War II. It is a statement of an absolute foreigner who has practically no connection to the land and its people - just a part of Auschwitz family and one silent “what if…”
Abstract:
Súbor Príbeh, ktorý sa nikdy nestal je fiktívnym dokumentom, ktorý som fotil v Izraeli počas mojich dvoch návštev v roku 2019. Ide o reflexiu a zamyslenie sa nad tým, čo by sa mohlo stať, keby moji starí rodičia po druhej svetovej vojne emigrovali do zasľúbenej zeme. Je to výpoveď cudzinca, ktorého s danou krajinou a s danými ľudmi prakticky nič nespája - len časť rodiny v Osvienčime a jedno tiché …more
