Analysis of Park and Ride (P+R) facilities and parking spaces for electric vehicles in urbanized areas

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je analýza záchytných parkovišť (P + R) a parkovacích stání pro elektromobily v urbanizovaných oblastech. Cílem práce je posoudit aktuální stav v největších městech ČR (Praha, Brno, Ostrava), zjistit, zda jsou záchytná parkoviště připravena pro nabíjení elektromobilů. Analýza vychází z dostupných volných zdrojů územních plánů a dopravních ročenek sledovaných měst. Metodou sběru dat je primárním zdrojem dotazník, kterého se zúčastnili respondenti ze sledovaných měst. Z výsledků průzkumu vyplývá, že hlavní město Praha disponuje elektrickými nabíječkami na dvou záchytných parkovištích. V Brně je v době psaní práce výstavba parkovacího domu, do něhož jsou plánovány nabíječky pro elektromobily. V Ostravě byl zaznamenán rozvoj infrastruktury pro nabíjení elektromobilů, avšak zatím nebyly instalovány nabíječky na záchytných parkovištích (P+R).

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of parking spaces (P+R) and parking spaces for electric vehicles in urbanized areas. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current situation in the largest cities of the Czech Republic (Prague, Brno, Ostrava), to find out whether the parking lots are prepared to charge electric vehicles. The analysis is based on available sources of plans for land usage and yearly traffic statistics of the cities studied. The primary data collection method is a questionnaire, in which respondents from the cities studied participated. The results of the survey show that the capital city of Prague has electric chargers at two car parks. In Brno, at the time of writing, a parking garage is under construction, where chargers for electric vehicles are planned. In Ostrava, the development of infrastructure for charging electric vehicles has been noted, but chargers have not yet been installed in the car parks (P+R).
