Weeds in sugar beet stands - harmfulness and biodiversity.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce byla sepsána pro účel sledování výskytu plevelných druhů v řepě cukrové během roku 2022, vztažené k termínu sledování a k vybranému pozemku. Dohromady byly vybrány tři pozemky od každého pěstitele, které byly sledovány ve třech termínech. První trojice vybraných pozemků vlastní a obhospodařuje Petr Jurajda z Radslavic a druhá trojice vybraných pozemků je obhospodařována společností Salix Morava a.s., Horní Moštěnice. Tato práce má dvě části, část literární a praktická. Pro praktickou část se prvně musela prostudovat odborná literatura pro správnou identifikaci vyskytujících se plevelných druhů a stupně zaplevelení. Početní metodou bylo celkem identifikováno 18 plevelných druhů. Pro následné zpracování byly tyto hodnoty zpracovány matematicko-statickými metodami. Výsledné hodnoty vykazovaly největší výskyt plevelných druhů v druhém termínu sledování. Zaplevelení pozemků se od sebe výrazně nelišily. Největších hodnot nabýval plevel Chenopodium album, Elytrigia repens a Beta vulgaris ssp. marittima. Identifikované plevelné druhy byly taktéž zhodnoceny bioindikačními hodnotami plevelů, které charakterizují podmínky ze strany rostliny. Pro toto vyhodnocení byly vybrány tři kritéria, a to světlo, vlhkost a biologická relevance.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis was written for the purpose of monitoring the occurrence of weed species in sugar beet during 2022, related to the date of monitoring and to the selected plot. Altogether, three plots were selected from each grower, which were monitored in three terms. The first three selected plots are owned and managed by Petr Jurajda from Radslavice, and the second three selected plots are managed by Salix Morava a.s., Horní Moštěnice. This work has two parts, a literary part and a practical part. For the practical part, the specialist literature had to be studied first for the correct identification of the occurring weed species and the degree of weeding. A total of 18 weed species were identified by the numerical method. For subsequent processing, these values were processed by mathematical-static methods. The resulting values showed the highest occurrence of weed species in the second monitoring period. Weeding of plots did not differ significantly from each other. The weed Chenopodium album, Elytrigia repens and Beta vulgaris ssp. marittima acquired the highest values. The identified weed species were also evaluated by the bioindicative values of the weeds, which characterize the conditions from the plant's side. Three criteria were selected for this evaluation, namely light, moisture and biological relevance.
