Short-circuit current calculation in an industrial network

Abstract:

Tato práce se v teoretické části věnuje popisu zkratových poruch v elektrických sítích, jednotlivých druhů zkratů, jejich příčin, průvodních jevů, časového průběhu zkratového proudu, jeho složek a charakteristických hodnot. Dále popisuje postup výpočtu zkratových proudů pomocí metody ekvivalentního napěťového zdroje v místě zkratu dle technické normy ČSN EN 60909-0 s uvedením možných zjednodušení postupu a podmínek jejich užití. Praktická část práce se zabývá výpočtem zkratových poměrů při několika zkratech v průmyslové síti dle konkrétního zadání se zaměřením na dopady zjednodušení postupu výpočtů na přesnost výsledku. Zkratové poměry jsou určeny pomocí přesného výpočtu dle technické normy ČSN EN 60909-0 a také pomocí výpočtů různě zjednodušenými postupy. Výsledky výpočtů jsou poté porovnány s následným vyhodnocením dopadů možných zjednodušení postupu výpočtu na přesnost výsledku.

Abstract:

In theorethical part, this thesis describes types, causations and consequences of short - circuits in electrical networks and time progression, components and characteristic values of short - circuit current. It also describes calculation of short - circuit current using method of equivalent voltage source in the place of the short - circuit according to the technical standard ČSN EN 60909-0 and specifies possible simplifications of the calculation with conditions of their use. The practical part of this thesis contains calculations of several short - circuit in specified industrial network with focus on impact of simplifications of calculations on results accuracy. The values are calculated using the accurate process described in the technical standard and also with use of various simplifications. The results are then compared and the impact of simplifications on results accuracy is evaluated.
