Perception of the role of a psychologist within a multidisciplinary team from the perspective of social workers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce zkoumá roli psychologa v multidisciplinárním týmu. Zaměřuje se vnímání role psychologa v Centru duševního zdraví z pohledu sociálních pracovníků. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, analyzovat a popsat, jaká je role psychologa v péči o klienty s duševním onemocněním v rámci multidisciplinárního týmu v Centru duševního zdraví. Cílem teoretické části práce je vymezit teoretická, empirická a metodologická východiska práce, na základě odborných zdrojů popsat a analyzovat roli psychologa v Centru duševního zdraví v kontextu multidisciplinarity. Na teoretickou část navazuje část výzkumná, která je tvořena metodou kvalitativního výzkumu s použitím strategie zakotvené teorie. Výzkumným cílem práce je zjistit, jak sociální pracovníci v multidisciplinárním týmu vnímají roli psychologa v Centru duševního zdraví.

Abstract:

This Master's thesis studies the role of the psychologist in a multidisciplinary team. It focuses on the perception of the role of the psychologist in the Mental Health Centre from the perspective of social workers. The aim of the thesis is to identify, analyse and describe the role of the psychologist in the care of clients with mental illness within a multidisciplinary team at the Mental Health Centre. The theoretical part of the paper intends to define the theoretical, empirical and methodological grounds of the thesis, and to describe and analyse the role of the psychologist in the Mental Health Centre in the context of multidisciplinarity. The theoretical part is followed by the research part, which consists of a qualitative research method using the grounded theory strategy. The research objective of this thesis is to identify how social workers in a multidisciplinary team perceive the role of the psychologist in the Mental Health Centre.
