Abstract:

Obsahem diplomové práce, jak napovídá už její název, je sociální práce se seniory s demencí v domácím prostředí a také limity poskytování péče v jejich přirozeném domácím prostředí. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat a analyzovat důvody, které vedou domácí pečující k umístění seniora s demencí do zařízení sociálních služeb. Snaží se odpovědět na otázku, jak lze podpořit pobyt seniorů s demencí v jejich domácím prostředí a oddálit nebo vůbec nevyužít pobytovou sociální službu. V práci je vyčleněna role seniora s demencí, který je v centru tohoto procesu, role neformálního pečujícího a role státu, jako podpůrce péče v domácím prostředí. Cílem výzkumu je identifikovat limity poskytování péče seniorům s demencí v domácím prostředí. Zabývá se otázkou, jaké jsou potřeby a možnosti každého z těchto zúčastněných a jak se vzájemně ovlivňují. Sociální práce se seniory s demencí v domácím prostředí je v diplomové práci zmíněna jak z hlediska současného stavu, tak v souvislosti s realizovanými výzkumy a doporučeními.

Abstract:

The content of the diploma thesis, as its name suggests, is social work with seniors with dementia in the home environment and also the limits of providing care in their natural home environment. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe and analyze the reasons that lead home caregivers to place a senior with dementia in social services facilities. It tries to answer the question of how it is possible to support the stay of seniors with dementia in their home environment and to delay or not use the residential social service at all. The thesis sets out the role of a senior with dementia, who is at the center of this process, the role of the informal carer and the role of the state as a supporter of informal care. The aim of the research is to identify the limits of providing care for seniors with dementia in the home environment. It deals with the question of what are the needs and possibilities of each of these participants and how they interact. Social work with seniors with dementia in the home environment is mentioned in the diploma thesis both in terms of the current state and in connection with the research and recommendations.
