The goal of this thesis is to create the tool for visualization of results of comparison of couple of images using sequence-alignment algorithms. At the beginning of this thesis, the reader is introduced to the theory of descriptors, their types and extraction. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je vytvoriť nástroj na vizualizáciu výsledkov porovnávania podobnosti dvojice obrázkov pomocou algoritmov pre zarovnanie reťazcov (sequence-alignment algorithms). V úvode je čitateľovi predstavená problematika deskriptorov, ich typy a extrakcia. Jadro práce sa venuje jednotlivým zarovnávacím algoritmom, konkrétne Needleman-Wunsch a Smith-Waterman.
