Implementation of Epidemiological Measures during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Kindergartens

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá uplatňováním epidemiologických opatření během pandemie Covid-19 v mateřských školách. V této souvislosti je cílem práce odpovědět na výzkumné otázky: (1) Jak učitelé mateřských škol uplatňovali v součinnosti s rodiči epidemiologická opatření? (2) Jak učitelé mateřských škol komunikovali o epidemiologických opatřeních s rodiči? (3) Jak učitelé mateřských škol řešili odmítání epidemiologických opatření ze strany rodičů? Na základě zpracování dotazníkového šetření, kterého se účastnilo celkem 83 učitelů a učitelek mateřských škol České republiky, bylo zjištěno, že mateřské školy se vypořádaly s pandemickou situací velmi dobře. Rodiče byli informováni o aktuálním dění a zároveň měli možnost se školou aktivně komunikovat. Přínosem této práce je pak shrnutí možností a způsobů, jak komunikovat s rodiči o dodržování epidemiologických opatření během uzavření škol či jak jednat s rodiči, kteří epidemiologická opatření nedodržují.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the application of epidemiological measures during the Covid-19 pandemic in kindergartens. In this context, the thesis aims to answer the research questions: (1) How did kindergarten teachers apply epidemiological measures in collaboration with parents? (2) How did kindergarten teachers communicate epidemiological measures with parents? (3) How did kindergarten teachers deal with parents' rejection of epidemiological measures? At the basis of the questionnaire survey, in which a total of 83 teachers of kindergartens in the Czech Republic participated, it was found that kindergartens dealt with the pandemic situation very well. Parents were informed about current events and had the opportunity to communicate actively with the school. The contribution of this paper is then a summary of the possibilities and ways to communicate with parents about compliance with epidemiological measures during school closures or how to deal with parents who do not comply with epidemiological measures.
