The present thesis deals with a Quebec variety of French language. It demonstrates the evolution of French language in North America, the particularities of Quebec French and the problems of the language politics in Quebec. Abstract:
Práce se zabývá québeckou variantou francouzštiny. Čtenáře seznamuje s vývojem francouzštiny na severoamerickém kontinentě, se zvláštnostmi québecké francouzštiny a problematikou jazykové politiky v Québeku. Udává ucelený přehled současné jazykové situace v Québecu a možnosti dalšího vývoje. Součástí práce je také rozbor textů rapové skupiny Loco Locass.
