Realization of individual planning for work with seniors in practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem individuálního plánování při práci se seniory v Domově pro seniory v České Lípě. Cílem práce byla identifikace procesu individuálního plánování v domově pro seniory v reálném prostředí praxe na základě vnímání tohoto procesu odpovědnými pracovníky a jejich role. Na začátku práce je popsáno výzkumné šetření, další kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na ústavní péči pro seniory a samotnou práci s nimi, konkrétně tedy na proces individuálního plánování. Na závěr jsou shrnuty výsledky zjištěné výzkumným šetřením, které probíhalo prostřednictvím rozhovorů. Z realizovaného výzkumu je patrné, že pracovníci odpovědní za realizaci individuálního plánování v domově pro seniory vnímají tento proces jako činnost, která umožňuje zprostředkovat určitou pomoc v rámci realizace sociální služby. Naopak mezi problematické aspekty patří tvorba individuálního plánu a nejednotná forma jeho zpracování. Z výzkumného šetření rovněž vyplynulo úskalí nedostatečné obeznámenosti s danou problematikou a nedostatečná informovanost o tom, jaký význam a smysl má pro uživatele proces individuálního plánování. Informace zjištěné ze šetření by bylo možné použít ke zvýšení efektivity procesu individuálního plánování nejen v tomto zařízení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis preoccupations topic of individual planning during the work with seniors in the Retirement Home in Ceska Lipa. The purpose of this work was indentification of the proces of individual planning in the retirement home in the real environment based on perceiving this proces responsible workers and their roles. At the beginning of this work is described the reseach invastigation, other chapters are focussed on institutional care for elderly people and the work itself with them, specifically in that case on the individual planning process. In conclusion there are summarized results, ascertained by research survey which was conducted through interviews. From the realized research is evident that the staff responsible for the realization of individual planning in the retirement home, perceive this process as an activity enabling mediate certain help within the realization of social service. On the other hand, amongst the problematic aspects belong creation of an individual plan and inconsistent form of its processing. From the research survey also revealed the difficulty of lack of familiarity with the given problematic and lack of information about, what sense and meaning have for the users process of individual planning. The informations found from the research survey could be used for the increase of effectivity of the process of individual planning not only in this facility.
