The Past of Greek Community in Bruntál Region: The Oral History

Abstract:

Práce vychází z vlastního výzkumu pomocí metody orální historie zaměřeného na příchozí řecké emigranty z let 1948-1949. Dle této metody práce sleduje osudy oslovených narátorů, kteří během řecké občanské války opustili svou vlast a putovali přes spřátelené země východního bloku až do Československa, kde se začali integrovat do české společnosti. V teoretické části se práce věnuje příčinám politické emigrace a jejímu průběhu a rozboru politické situace v Řecku po druhé světové válce. Praktická část zahrnuje samostatný výzkum orální historie, který interpretuje a analyzuje rozhovory s narátory ohledně historických událostí předcházejících emigraci a po ní. Zejména se zaměřuje na jejich život v Československu.

Abstract:

This work is based of the author's own oral history research aimed at incoming greek emigrants from the years 1948-1949. According to this method of work follows the the lives of respondents narrators who left the home country durring the Greek civil war and traveled through Eastern bloc countries allied to Czechoslovakia, where they began to integrate into Czech society. The theoretical part deals with the political causes of emigration and its conduct and analysis of the political situation in Greece after the Second World War. The practical part includes oral history research which interprets and analyzes the narrator interviews about the historical events prior to and after the emigration. Especially it focuses on their life in Czechoslovakia.
