Tato práce se zabývá aspekty patriarchální společnosti z přelomu devatenáctého a dvacátého století v tvorbě americké spisovatelky Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Na základě rozboru několika povídek ze souboru The Charlotte Perkins Gilman Reader, sestaveného Ann J. This thesis examines the aspects of patriarchal society that were prevalent at the turn of the nineteenth century as exposed in the work of the well-known American writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Based on the analysis of several short stories from the collection called The Charlotte Perkins Gilman Reader, compiled by Ann J.
