Eucharistic miracles as a part of the catechesis of the Eucharist

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Eucharistické zázraky jako součást katecheze o eucharistii“ pojednává o realitě eucharistických zázraků. Cílem práce je přispět k hlubší víře v reálnou přítomnost Ježíše Krista v eucharistii a to zejména u mladých lidí. První část práce se zabývá základní biblickou exegezí textů ve Starém a Novém zákoně, které se týkají eucharistie. V druhé části práce jsou představeny kritéria vyšetřování eucharistického zázraku. Dále se tato část zabývá vybranými eucharistickými zázraky, jež byly církví prohlášeny za pravé. Poslední část nabízí několik metod katecheze zaměřených primárně na mladé. Katecheze jsou založeny na katechetických, didaktických a pedagogických principech. Diplomová práce může být využita např. ve výuce Náboženství a v katechezích pro mladé lidi.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Eucharistic miracles as a part of the catechesis of the Eucharist“ deals with the existence of Eucharistic miracles. The goal of the thesis is to contribute to deeper faith in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, especially in young people. Firstly, there were carried out basic biblical exegesis of the Eucharistic texts in the New and the Old Testaments. Secondly, there were introduced the crucial criterions which are strictly required during the investigation of every Eucharistic miracle. Further, the study was dealt with some chosen Eucharistic miracles that are confirmed by the Church as truthful. Finally, the last part of thesis offers some methods of catechesis focusing on the youth and based on the catechetical, didactic and pedagogical principles. The thesis may be useful e.g. in Religious education and catechesis for young people.
