Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce má seznámit čtenáře, a hlavně studenty, se sémantickým webem, standardem RDF a dotazovacím jazykem SPARQL. Jedná se zejména o standard RDF, jehož funkce jsou popis, výměna a znovupoužití metadat, které jsou pro sémantický web klíčové. Dotazovací jazyk SPARQL je používán pro manipulaci s daty RDF formátu. Máme čtyři základní typy dotazů jazyka SPARQL. Tyto dotazy rozlišujeme podle jejich typu odpovědí. Rozšířením základních dotazů jsou dotazy vnořené. Součástí práce je konkrétní příklad tvorby vlastní ontologie, a poté nad touto ontologií aplikujeme SPARQL dotazy v programu Protégé, s cílem pomoci čtenářům lépe se zorientovat při tvorbě SPARQL dotazů s jeho funkcemi a operandy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis represents the semantic web, RDF standard and query language SPARQL to the readers and students. Basically, the RDF standard includes fundamental functions such as description, exchange and reuse of metadata, which are crucial for semantic web. The SPARQL is used for the manipulation with RDF data. We have four basic types of SPARQL queries. These queries are distinguished according to the types of answers. Extension of basic queries are nested queries. In the next part, we present a specific example of ontology creation and then we give (apply) some examples of SPARQL queries on this ontology in Protégé application. A purpose of this section is to help readers to understand of SPARQL query creation with its function and operands.
