Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na dnes velice závažné téma a to na důchodovou reformu. Důchodová reforma není jen tématem České republiky, ale týká se i jiných evropských zemí. V práci je ukázána situace jak v České republice, tak v Německu, Velké Británii a USA. Celkově jde o to, že celou Evropou zmítá demografická krize, která má za následek stárnutí populace, tzn. že se prodlužuje věk, rodí se čím dále tím méně dětí a na dnešní a budoucí důchodce bude vydělávat čím dál tím méně aktivně činných lidí. Praktická část je zaměřena na formy soukromého financování (zabezpečení) důchodů formou životního pojištění, penzijního připojištění a investováním do fondů. Je zde také zobrazen vývoj od roku 1989 až po současnost, na kterém je vidět, jak se situace vyvíjela.

Abstract:

My thesis is based on an up-to-date topic - the pension reform which is a very hot theme in the whole Europe. In the first part of my work I define and compare the situation in the Czech republic, Germany, the Great Britain and the USA. The common thing for all of the listed countries is demographic crises which is the main reason of ageing population in the developed European countries. It is caused mainly by longer life-span and decreasing number of new-born children. The result is that nowadays and future seniors will get smaller amounts of retiring pays. The practical part of my thesis describes forms of private financed (safeguard) pension systems using life insurance, superannuation schemes and investing in funds. It also describes the historical situation development until 1989.
