Transport externalities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o zastoupení externích nákladů neboli externalit v dopravě. Zobrazuje především negativní vedlejší efekty v souvislosti s poškozováním životního prostředí a způsoby jejich regulace. Charakterizuje negativní ale i pozitivní externality dopravy, způsoby financování, regulace a snížení především negativních externalit v dopravě. Práce se mimo jiné zabývá i zhodnocením stávající dopravní infrastruktury na území České republiky a to jak z technického hlediska, tak ze způsobů financování. V závěrečné části práce je nastíněno možné řešení tohoto problému.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with a participation of external costs, in other words externalities in transportation. It describes mainly negative side effects in connection with wasting our environment and possible ways of their regulation. It charecterizes negative but also possitive externalities of transportation, ways of financing, regulations and reductions especialy of the negative externalities of transportation. Among others, my thesis is also concerned with a traffic infrastructure evaluation in the area of the Czech republic from a technical point of view as well as according to its financing. In the final part of my thesis ther is given a possible resolution of this problem.
