The subject mater of this thesis is the study of the fashion magazine Vogue. This study looks at photography as its most important element of expression. The work deals with the transformation of the style of the magazine and also the change of photography in the 1970s. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá tematikou módneho časopisu Vogue. Práca sa zaoberá premenou štýlu magazínu a tiež zmenou fotografie v sedemdesiatych rokoch 20. storočia. Ďalej sa venuje tvorbe Helmuta Newtona v americkom a francúzskom Vogue v tomto období. Helmut Newton preň pracoval dvadsaťtri rokov a značne ovplyvnil jeho vizuálnu stránku.
