Ethnocentrism in the USA
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce "Etnocentrismus v USA" je formulovat základní projevy etnocentrismu a identifikovat ty, které se vyskytují na území USA. S pomocí vlastního výzkumu je v práci srovnána česká a americká kultura a následně zhodnocena míra etnocentrismu v USA. Dotazování mladých respondentů přináší pohled, jakým směrem by se etnocentrismus mohl dále vyvíjet.
Abstract:
The aim of the bachelor thesis "Ethnocentrism in the USA" is to find basic forms of ethnocentrism and to identify the ones that are in the USA. The Czech and American cultures are compared in the thesis via author's research. Then the rate of ethnocentrism in the USA is evaluated. Interviewing young people gives a current trend and an expectation of future course of the ethnocentrism.
