Interakce topoizomerázy I s DNA modifikovanou protinádorově aktivními komplexy kovů

Abstract:
Topologie DNA má zásadní význam pro průběh buněčných dějů. Za hlavní regulátory topologického stavu DNA jsou považovány topoizomerázy. Tyto enzymy se staly ve vývoji nových chemoterapeutik terčem působení řady látek, které inhibují jejich katalytickou činnost. Topoisomerase I is a ubiquitous and essential enzyme in multicellular organisms. The topological state of DNA greatly affects its functional properties and plays an important role in processes such as replication, recombination and transcription.
