Use of Non-destructive Methods of Forensic Research

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá základními nedestruktivními kriminalisticko-technickými metodami v kriminalistické a forenzní oblasti. Tedy optickým a vizuálním zkoumáním, zkoumáním stop a věcných důkazů pomocí rentgenového záření, počítačové tomografie, ultrafialového záření a infračerveného záření, v neposlední řadě také pomocí jaderného záření. Práce je členěna do dvou částí – teoretické a výzkumné. Na úvod je v teoretické části rozebrána kriminalistika jako součást vědeckého systému, pozornost je také věnovaná trestné činnosti, v jejíž souvislosti vznikají kriminalistické stopy, které jsou zkoumány nejen nedestruktivními metodami. Hlavní pasáž teoretické části se zabývá samotnými výše uvedenými nedestruktivními metodami a jejich využitím v kriminalistické technice a v následném kriminalistickém a forenzním zkoumání. V praktické části je pak proveden experiment, v němž jsou použity destruktivní a nedestruktivní metody, které jsou vzájemně porovnány. Cílem této práce je poskytnout čtenáři vhled do dané problematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the basic non-destructive forensic-technical methods in the forensic field. That is, with optical and visual examination, examination of traces and factual evidence by means of X-rays, computed tomography, ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation, and last but not least by nuclear radiation. The thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical one and research. At the beginning, the theoretical part analyses criminology as part of the scientific system, attention is also paid to criminal activity in connection with which criminological traces are created that are then investigated not only with non-destructive methods. The main passage of the theoretical part deals with the above mentioned non-destructive methods and their use in forensic technology and subsequent forensic research. In the practical part, an experiment is performed, in which destructive and non-destructive methods are used that are compared with each other. The aim of the thesis is to provide the reader with an insight into the issue.
